When you read out loud, you

A: I use the expressions and mimmic the voices to sound just the same as the character's.

B: Usually, I don't like to read out loud, and if I do, it turns into mumbleing.

4-6: You belong with those who are their and make the musical, the musical.  What's lion king without the lioness's?  What's Aladdin without the vendors and dancers?  What's a story without you?

7+:  Now you've kind of got to be the character.  You have to put yourself in His/her shoes and work with your peers the way your character would.  It's hard, but fun.  And you can handle it.

Thr family game #2

Newest Report on the family game.

I said earlier that I was exhausted from being a babysitter and that I needed a day off.  Now, being a babysitter is the best thing that ever happened to me.  If someone offered me a day off, I would shake my head and walk away.   I'm starting to appreciate the kids.  I don't know what I would do without them.

I will always stay close to the family of friends.

My Moving Friend

I have a friend that's moving currently.  Friday was her last day.

I have her number.  We also gave her a box of gifts and cards.  There were pictures and numbers and e-mails all over everywhere.

I might call her soon but I don't know if she settled in her new home just yet.

Our Coffee Shop

Our Coffee shop

Today we had our coffee shop at school.  Crazy, we're ten year old entrepreneurs, running a business. I was a cashier so I did a lot of interacting with these customers.  They were all very nice.  I even got to take my parent's order.  We got a lot of tips.  It was a fun experience to actually run a REAL coffee shop, during our business unit in social studies.  We made almost $400!

Do you truly love reading?

My monthly quiz

Starting now, I'll be doing monthly quizzes.  Enjoy!

You realize it's time for reading class.  Instead of getting to put our nose into a book,  you need to talk to your teacher about something. You:

    a. Make a pouting face and walk on over, why now?
    b. Oh well, it is important. Maybe you can just read later
    c. YES! You get to skip reading

You're assigned to read twenty minutes per day for homework. You:

             a. Read til 10.  For once, you actually like doing more of homework
             b. Read the required amount.  Hey, your doing what you need to do
             c. Just skip it.  How will the teachers find out?

The librarian recommends a book, just for you. You:

             a. Start reading it right away. You know you'll love it
             b. Use the five finger rule.  That's what helps.
             c. Ignore it.  You don't even like reading.

  Results:

More A's:  You love reading. It's your favorite subject. You'd read all day if you could.  If you get these results, read why reading is good if you haven't already.

More B's: Reading's okay.  You could live with it. Still, it may not be your favorite subject.

More C's: To you, reading's boring. You may not like it but, push yourself.  Maybe you just haven't found the right book.

MY CLOTHES

One Day...

By the way, my friend Sophie writes on her blogger blog
these days.  One day, she came up to me and said:

Where do you get all those pretty clothes?

In case you have the same problem (can't find your style), go to Kohl's.  They have different mix n match styles from Disney channel as well as their own stuff.  Go there, and I'm sure you'll come back with clothes that are totally you!

The family

THE FAMILY GAME

Many things have been going on since the past few months.  I'm reading Anne Frank's diary.  Turns out, we have somethings in common (personality).
Anyway, my friends and I have this thing called the family game.  There are three sisters who are married to three boys that are friends. They didn't want the boys to figure out. Unfortunately, the the two boys  figured out.  The other two parents decided, well, let's get to the kids.  All of the kids are young except for this one kid that  is her normal age.  (All of s are ten but in the game, we're not.)  The girl  who 's her normal age is the only help I have.  (I'm the babysitter.)  I'm very glad to have her around even though she doesn't babysit as much as I do.   The kids are adorable but sometimes it's hard to deal with all of the two year old and"free year olds".

My Reading Chart

The Series I'm Reading.............

(If you don't like reading, bounce.)         So pick out the next book in your favorite series.  It's thick but only 5-6 hundred pages.  You thought it would last you over a month but it lasts you a bit over the next time you get to visit the school library.  The book has a cliff hanger so you need the next book but you can't visit the library in six days.  #I know right?

My advice:  Go on an online e-book library and check out the next book.  If it's not available, just check out a sample of the book.  (And actually read as much as you can with the sample.)

The Play

A Main character

Sadly, in our play, we can't actually have a main character.  A lot of people would wish to be the main character.  You see, the actors and actresses aren't yet adults.  SOME of them may not be okay if someone else is the main character.  I need help.  LOADS of help.  Maybe we can all be main characters?

MIXED UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What is Mixed Up?

Mixed up is basically just a play I'm doing for the After School program.  It sadly, is only five minutes long but it gets exiting during the first three and for the last few minutes, The crowd will also have some great fun.  I can assure you that if you came to the EXPO Center during the after school fair, You will enjoy our skit and all the other performances there. Oh and by the way, it's on April 14, 2016.

School Life V.S. Home Life

V.S.

At home life, You sometimes have to worry about school the next day and sometimes, you can be bored. Otherwise, It's like getting out of the house with your friends, staying active or a lazy Sunday.

Getting out of the house with your friends would mean spending some time together, no siblings or parents unless you want, and doing something you can enjoy with your friends and your friends only.

Staying active can require getting out of the house but it doesn't always have to be like that.  Sometimes, people say to keep an active mind.  No, that doesn't mean a workout for the brain all the time.  It can just mean to be creative.  But for those of you athletes, being active can also mean being active.

Now a lazy Sunday is pretty much the opposite of all that.  It could mean just sitting on the couch all day watching TV but it could be reading, sleeping (if you're sick) and more.

School life is WAY different.  It's more like homework, schoolwork and tests.  But there is a bright side too.  Again, we can bring out the friends, classes like art, music and gym plus library and best of all, RECESS!  There is a very dark side too.  Enemies, frenemies and rules.

Which one do you like best?

After School drama

1-15-16   At after school yesterday...

I found the new quote of the day.

"Hi guys,  doctor Gorden here,  I'm going to show you how to pierce a nose.  Okay so, the first step is to cut the nose hole so the person isn't breathing on you.   Next, You need to cut the nose the nose because it is really ugly.  Next, you must cut the hole so it is nice and big.  next unfold and put the nose thing in."

 -Ava

This Dr. Gorden isn't real.  My friend is just having fun with imagination.

Competition

IXL

My bro and I had a competition.   We had to do IXL and see who would get done first.  The winner gets to plan a dance performance that the loser has to do the dance in front of the whole family.  Our dad will be filming this and he will send it to both of our grandparents.  The loser will have to wear, sing and dance exactly how the winner plans.  The winner gets an cookie too. The worst part would be that... My bro won.

Juicy, Just Juicy

Juicy News

Just yesterday, at after school my friend Charly drew three pics of girls. The first one was Ookay.  The second one was nuh-uh and the third one was just terrible.  The pictures were not good but her idea to spread craziness with a K was awesome.  The  guy at after school, (Her victim) was someone named Gavin.  Charly dared him to _ _ _ _ all three of the pictures for a special reward.  To call all of us Chris.  I was the news reporter and here I am with the juicy stuff.  Eventually, Gavin told on Charly and for that second... I thought she was busted.  Good news for the artist ... she was not busted.  The artist Charly was still to be trusted by the teachers. #Lucky gurl

Back 2 School :(

Back to School :(

Tomorrow, Is back to school day.  I had a fun break but soon it'll be mid January and then for sure all the Christmas joy will be gone.  I don't feel like going to school anymore.  I wish I had at least two more days.  I'd have to focus on getting to sleep and waking up at the right time, packing, getting good grades and all that other stuff no one wants to focus on.  The only good things would be seeing friends again and actually writing about elementary school life.  One of my friends also has a blog.  She writes about book recommendations.  Here's the link:
